With immediate effect, busses in particular with a valid pre-booking can use the self-service lane in the ports of Puttgarden (Germany) and Rødby (Denmark) – for a fast and uncomplicated check-in!
Automatic recognition:
If you have a pre-booking, the system reads the registered license plate or scans the QR code and locates your pre-booking.
License plate recognition*: If you have registered the bus license plate in advance, the cameras in the self-service lane will read the license plate and retrieve your booking at the self-service kiosk
Or
- From your booking reference: Scan the QR code or type the booking reference on your pre-booking (10 numbers begins with S2…) when you reach self-service kiosk
*) If you wish to modify your pre-booking with the license plate, please contact gruppen@scandlines.com and request our Service center to add it on your booking latest 2 hours before the booked departure time.
Remember to inform your booking number (the one that starts with S2..)
Fast processing:
The check-in ticket and any applicable vouchers and coupons are issued directly at the self-service kiosk.
Easy onward journey:
After check-in, the barrier opens automatically. Once the second security barrier has been passed, vehicles are prepared for boarding.
1-day and 2-day tickets:
Busses with pre-booked day tickets can also use the service.
No pre-booking?:
In many situations, the self-service lane can still be used.
